Work AS All-round mechanic water sports (40 hours) at Biesheuvel water sports
Are you ready for a new challenge? And do you have experience as a mechanic in the water sports industry?
We are looking to strengthen our team!
We specialise in maintenance and repair of high-speed motorboats and outboard engines. We also customise new and used boats and do new builds of custom high performance ribs. We do this under the name Revolt Custom Boats. Service is important to us and we maintain good contact with our customers, partners and suppliers. We have a stable position in the market and are aware of the latest developments in our field. In our workshop, we use high-quality tools and unique tools. We have the right knowledge 'on board' and treat properties as if they were our own. We have local customers, but also throughout Europe. Over the years, we have been on the map both nationally and internationally. The secret? Passion! The staff in the workshop have ultimate passion for (fast) boats and their craft! Does this make your heart beat faster too?
Job description
As a mechanic, your hands are your greatest friends and you will be our specialist for maintenance and repairs on our customers' boats. Did the customer hit something that caused damage? You fix it and make sure the boat is like new again. Is maintenance needed? Then you've come to the right place. It also happens that customers want a whole new boat that we do not have. Of course, this involves a whole process of identifying the customer's wishes and making drawings. The boat is then built all by yourself and how nice is it that you help build this dream boat? And what a variety. How cool is that! Perhaps as cool as test sailing once the boat is finished and testing whether everything works as it should. Together with a team of five colleagues, between coffees, you make sure everything runs smoothly in the workshop.
Duties & responsibilities
- Boat maintenance and repairs or parts
- Recording, repairing and/or replacing in the event of any damage
- Co-building new boats in new builds
- Fitting options or systems (audio, sonar, video)
- Fitting outboard engines and accessories such as navigation lights, audio and cockpit lights
- Drinking coffee and having fun in the workplace
- Customer contact when customers drop by the workshop
Job requirements
- Vmbo/mbo working and thinking level with technical knowledge
- Basic knowledge of electrical/electrical engineering
- Experience with technology and tinkering (e.g. scooters/cars/boats)
- Who are you? You are handy and enjoy fixing something up, making it more beautiful or creating your own. You are impressed by the engines that go into these boats and can't wait to hear and see how they work on the water. You work neatly and carefully because you know you are dealing with high-quality boats and materials. You like a joke, are easy-going and sociable for coffee or lunch.
What do we offer?
Besides a challenging job with many development opportunities, we also offer you an organisation that is constantly developing. We are a specialist and also grant you the knowledge and training appropriate to our products and image. We work with heavy engines, high-performance products, special boats and fun customers. Even in uncertain times, we dare to think along with your personal situation to do justice to your craftsmanship. In addition, we offer you:
