Job description

As a mechanic, you will perform maintenance and repairs on boats and parts. You will also help build new boats and install options such as audio, sonar or lighting. Sometimes you work on complete custom-built projects: from customer requirements to sea trials. Together with a small team, you ensure that everything in the workshop runs smoothly.

Duties & responsibilities

Maintenance and repair of boats and parts

Damage recording, repair and replacement

Helping build new boats

Installation of options and systems

Installation of outboard engines and accessories

Customer contact during workshop visits

And of course: having fun with colleagues!

Job requirements

Vmbo/mbo working and thinking level with technical knowledge

Basic knowledge of electricity/electrical engineering

Experience with engineering/tutoring (scooters, cars or boats)

Handy, creative and careful work with high-quality materials

Sociable, collegial and in for a joke
